Moving over from QuickBooks Online
Connect your QuickBooks Online company and RiverBooks brings your books over, then checks its trial balance against QuickBooks' to the cent. QuickBooks is only read, never changed.
Two ways to move
Balances as of a start date
Your chart of accounts, customers, vendors, products and services, open invoices and unpaid bills, and every account's balance on the day before you start. Quick, and all most businesses need.
Full history
Every transaction since a date you choose, so reports for past years work in RiverBooks too. Re-running it is safe: unchanged transactions are skipped.
How it goes
- Connect QuickBooks Online from Import in RiverBooks.
- Preview the import: counts and anything that needs a decision, with nothing written yet.
- Import. RiverBooks compares every account's balance with QuickBooks and lists any difference.
- From your start date on, record new work in RiverBooks: the bank feed and your invoices carry on from there.
Not on QuickBooks Online? Customers, vendors, products and journal entries import from spreadsheets (CSV) too.
Payroll history isn't available through QuickBooks' connection. If you ran payroll in QuickBooks, your accountant can add summary entries.
